The SmartFusion® and SmartFusion®2 family by Microsemi® combines the classical benefits of FPGA with equally flexibly configurable analog circuits and one of the most popular embedded processors, the ARM® Cortex®-M3, in one chip. SmartFusion® FPGA are ideal for hardware and software developers who need a real system in chip solution which is more flexible than a microcontroller-FPGA combination or the use of a softcore in the FPGA.
M2S025T SmartFusion®2 System-on-Chip FPGA
This SmartFusion®2 evaluation board was created to enable the user to test his applications and designs immediately on hardware within a short amount of time. To do so, this board was equipped with numerous components (see image).
The central element is the M2S025T-FGG484, an FPGA of the SmartFusion®2 family.
